A current job we have been working on at Wessex Timber Windows is to repair this orangery, near Bath, back to its former glory. This included removing the existing timber sash windows & doors and taking them back to our workshop to repair and repairing the existing glass roof on site.
Before – existing sash windows and doors before being removed to refurbish, reglaze and traditionally putty in our workshop.
After – sash windows and doors after refurbishment delivered to site and fitted by our team of fitters ready to be painted onsite by others.
Before & during – on the left is the existing roof in need or repair. On the right is during the refurbishment process which involved our fitters removing all the existing glass from the roof, storing carefully ready for refitting and repairing timber rafters.
After – roof complete after existing glass refitted and sone new panes fitted where needed.
